These are quality-handcrafted blankets that are custom designed for durability, convenience and comfort at an affordable price. The Standard construction of these blankets includes: Velcro closures, tail flaps, contoured rump darts, wide belly bands, closed fronts and will have heavy-duty nylon thread. The light weight, breathable cotton sheets are 80% cotton and 20% Polly-blend keeping horses dry and comfortable. (Nylon sheets cause fungus and mildew to form next to skin). Proper fit and sizing: when fitting be careful NOT to over-snug the belly-bands. There should be enough room to put a fist between the belly-band and belly (when a horse lays down his belly will expand causing stress on the seams). When determining size to order, measure the horse from the center of the chest to the center of the tail, that number will be the size to order. Other optional choices will include adjustable shoulder tabs for an additional $3.00 and open fronts for an additional $3.00. Also available are neck hoods to match. Colors choices are red, black, blue, purple, hunter and burgundy. Trim choices are black, white, gray, tan, red, navy, hunter, teal and purple. Completely machine washable, made in Minnesota.
