The photo ABOVE  is how the mount will look in the rear of the saddle.  Also how it will look in the front of  the saddle when adjusted at the lowest setting.

The Photo BELOW is the mount used on the saddles that have the adjustable system IV (4).  Note that I have taken measurements of the distances so you  can see just how "far away" you really are from your animals back.   In total 7/8 of an inch! Now add a 1/2 for a pad and your total distance is 1 3/8 inch  and in that SMALL distance from your animals back, you are allowing them...
