Do you want to learn how to camp with your horse or fit a horse for Boas? If so, Hill View Farms is your expert. We chose Hill View Farms in Morgan, Minnesota as dealer of the month because of their well-rounded and fun approach to doing business. For Don and Cathy Tauer, their business is just an extension of their love of camping, trail riding, raising kids and spending time with their Peruvian Pasos. They don’t sell anything they don’t use themselves, and they are dedicated to offering personalized service and education.
Cathy provides regular clinics called “Camping with Cathy” that teach people how to prepare themselves and their horses for the perfect ride. In every clinic she integrates the products she manufactures and carries. She feels that Boa Horse Boots are a must for every shod or unshod trail horse. She says “I don’t go anywhere, and I mean ANYWHERE without boots. (We tease her about the ANYWHERE part.)
Hill View’s unique catabook (catalog /
book combination) is a fun blend of products, camping recipes, packing lists,
boot fitting tips, pictures of Peruvian Horses, and stories of everyday living.
They chose a book format for marketing because people keep them around, and they
add interest and perspective to Hill View Farm’s knowledge of the products.
To say that they Hill View Farms has a lot going on is an understatement. They are a top seller of Boa Horse Boots and EZ Ride Stirrups, they just started manufacturing her own saddle line, they raise Peruvian Paso horses, have three girls, run a retail store, trail ride regularly (Cathy does over 1,000 miles per year in various countries) and they have made a DVD about horse camping. Cathy is an expert booter, having experience with her own horses as well as helping thousands of novices with all types of equines.
Cathy can answer all types of questions about gaited horses and Boa Horse Boots. We appreciate Hill View Farms for their no-nonsense approach and practical customer service methods.
