Horse Hauling: "Equine
Escort Service” Offers the best individual attention that loving
equine owners demand. My claim to fame is “Pamper” as the horse comes
first. Equines travel in a deluxe insulated trailer, which can be a
"box stall on wheels" or slant load, if more that one horse is hauled.
The air ride suspension on the truck and a shock absorber on the
gooseneck provide the most comfortable ride possible for the horse.
Fresh apples, carrots and quality hay along with water are offered
every 3-4 hours during mandatory rest and inspection stops.
Electrolytes are given when necessary. When distance requires it,
overnight stays are provided at horse hotels.

Peruvian Stallion: People ask
me who I like as a stallion. Well I love this horse. Never
have I meet a stallion with the personality, disposition, intelligence
and loyalty followed by gait and confirmation as this guy. He
will never be seen in the show ring nor does he leave the farm. (He
will die there.) He is owned, loved and handled by Shirley, who
is an older disabled confined to a motorized wheel chair. This stallion is so quite
and calm that Shirley could handle him with a bale sting and tells him,
"ok, now you can get on" or "time to get off" with just a little
tug on the string. (Her husband holds the mare). There is no striking
or screaming, just a soft love knickers from this stallion when a mare
is present. This stallion is called Shorty (cause he was once
short as a baby),
is really Fuego Brillante #11583 (1994) a true liver chestnut with
star, stripe and snip and a coronet sock on rear left hind.
pedigree. If you want to have a Shorty baby then you have to call
Shirley Gabert in Watertown, SD at 605-886-5137 to arrange a date. I
have kept this stallion a secret - for selfish reasons and for that I
am sorry. It is not fair to Shorty or to Shirley - especially
since every year she must undergo some type of major surgery on some part of her
body and she must some how try to make ends meet. All of my
Shorty babies have improved upon my mares with each foal superb to
their damn. Something that is a hard feat to do. I LOVE
this stallion and his gentle personality, confirmation and gait come
through my mares and into my foals.
