do you not have online shopping?
As consumers
ourselves, we know that there are fewer mistakes, returns and dissatisfaction
when dealing directly with the consumer. This is why we have a TOLL FREE
phone and fax number for you to use. We can ask questions of each other and get
your order exactly right. When you call us you will get us directly. If
for some reason we are out of the office, we will tell you by machine and will
return your call as soon as possible. We are here for the most part 7 days a
week 24 hours a day and we are always happy to receive your call. There is no bad time to call. This is our job and we do it for you!

The HVF Brand - what it means to you: As a contract manufacturer, we
have learned A LOT through the years and the most important thing we have
learned is not to blindly trust manufacturers trying to sell us a line
of goods stating “quality”. We
do our own research and CONTRACT only those manufactures that will supply the
QUALITY we require and build goods to
our specifications. It is ONLY this
product that will carry the HVF Brand - exclusively, with no other
manufacturer mark. This Branded Product in itself will carry a
2-year warrantee against defects, natural wear and tear, but not customer abuse
or neglect.

8.5 miles from the farm, Hill View Farms manufacturs saddles and tack in in an 6,000 plus square foot building located on an 1.5
acres of land just on the west edge Springfield. MN. This facility provides an retail store, a huge show room for the Brendup
Horse trailers, a manufacturing/assembly room where saddles and tack are
made, an enormous amount of storage space for inventory along
with a shipping
and receiving area.
A state-of-the-art fitting room for horses with stalls and flooring along with
an outdoor wash
station for trailers and horses with a large riding area is available for
customer use. The Springfield
airport is located just a mile
away and Springfield has a beautiful hotel which includes an indoor swimming
pool, for those who wish to fly in for personal consultations. During the
riding season, feel free to join us on the trail camping, as we can provide you
with a mount to suit your needs. It is for the LOVE of the horse and the
passion of making things wonderful between horse and rider that drive our vision

An
interesting perspective on price: Written by John Ruskin, who
lived between 1819 and 1900.
It's unwise to pay too much. But it's worse to pay too little.
When you pay too much, you lose a little money, that is all.
When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you
bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.
It can't be done.
If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you
run.
And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better.
There is hardly anything in the world that someone can't make a little worse and
sell a little cheaper - and people who consider price alone are this man's
lawful prey.

On another issue - We have wrestled with the pricing issues for what we do. Some people seem to keep asking us to give them a discount or special treatment and some accept our fees. We have come to believe that it is not fair to the ones who don’t ask for price reductions to give discounts to the ones who do. Therefore, we have established some objective criteria that we use - based on the complexity of the situation, which we can judge by number of accounts, and the totals size of the assets we manage.
As we've started our new saddle business we've evaluated every aspect of our business. Part of this process involved consulting with a number of current customers as well as some outside experts. We were very satisfied to learn that we were doing most things really well - that we deliver quality and value, that our service and guarantees are well above industry norms, and that our customer satisfaction ratings are very high.
Our financial consultant has advised that we establish some clear pricing practices. Some people seem to believe that the prices we quote are the starting point for negotiation and from time to time we have been drawn into that. That will no longer be the case. We will continue to offer high quality merchandise, personalized service and guarantees at prices that are fair, competitive and firm.
From time to time, to reduce inventory we will mark down some items. "Sale" and closeout items will be noted on the website.
The good news is the discount policy for multiple purchases of saddles for use by the same family: will be 10% on all saddles when purchased at one time with no combining of other discounts or promotions.
