During the spring thaw in the north land lots can be HORRIBLE.

The way our lot lays requires us to walk through a drainage dip to get to the field or to the horse pastures to take hay out to the bunks. The horses also walk through this area to get to the barn and to water.

During spring thaw and spring rains, this dip can become a mucky mess to walk though. This muck also causes stress on the horses’ tendons and makes their feet a crusty mess. 

In comes the MOBI MAT.  These photos were taken when the mat was first put down on the way to the feed bunks.  It wasn’t anchored down, as we did not know how the horses would react.  Lucy was the first to come up to it and paw, others followed.  Then came the chewing and tasting.  Then came the walking across it.  Wonderful.
